Student of SBOA - It's official now!

Few days back we paid the fees and finished the admission formalities. We still have to decide on the mode of transport she will use to get to School.

The school has recommended a specific suplier for the school uniform material and also has given us handouts on the details of the frock pattern (for girls) to be stiched.

A total of 3 diffrent uniforms to be stiched. A white set for mondays, a blue set for tuesday, wednesday and thursday and a house colour waist coat to go with the white outfit on fridays.

For the boys it is a white shirt and shorts on monday, blue checked shirt and blue shorts for tuesday to thursday. House colour t-shirt with white shorts on friday.

The school shoes are Bata foot fun shoes, navy blue in colour and navy blue socks on all days.

The school will supply the house coloured waist coat and t-shirts, badge, school belt and tie.

First day at school......

Finally the day had arrived and gone too without much fuss, my kid didn't cry but missed out on her snacks and was famished when I went to pick her up. The day for her seemed to have gone fairly well given the fact that she was without me for the first time. I guess I missed her more than the other way around! As for the activities, they sang a couple of well known rhymes, "Johnny, Johnny yes papa, Jack and Jill & Rolly Poly", they were allowed to play ball and played a sit & stand game. So the first hurdle has been crossed!

LKG Admissions @ SBOA Junior College 2014 - 2015

So the little one is ready for LKG and you are hell bent on finding the right school. Maybe you have narrowed down SBOA School and Junoir College, Anna Nagar or it is on your list of schools to consider, either ways you would need to pick up an application first. From 2012 the applications can be downloaded online and the registration fee needs to be paid at the time of submitting the application. Usually the applications are issued by the mid of January for the current year admissions. You will have at least 2 weeks to prepare your application and submit it. The documents requested to be submitted along with the application would be The birth certificate of the child (With the name entered) An Address proof (Could be the childs passport, family ration card, gas bill in the name of the father or mother, etc...) There are around 1000+ seats available, but unfortunately the demand is disproportionately high. The below website is where you...

"Tiny Tyros" Preschool @ SBOA

The long awaited project from SBOA had materialized with the opening of a new Montessori based preschool "Tiny Tyros" in Mogappair near Anna nagar in 2012. SBOA Preschool is currently offering a 'Starters' and a 'Movers' program. The 'Starters' program caters to 2 to 3 year olds. The 'Movers' is for 3 years and above Their infrastructure is state of the art, with spacious and airconditioned classrooms. It also boasts of computer aided activities and a well equipped activity room. Their working hours are from 9 AM to 12 Noon. After school daycare facilities are also available from 12 Noon to 5 PM at an extra cost.
